Why Pacific Plum?

Pacific Plum is more than a name. It’s a reflection of who we are and how we work.

“Pacific” is inspired by the coast where one of our partners grew up, a place defined by calm strength, depth, and wide-open possibility. The ocean represents steadiness and perspective. It reminds us that meaningful growth happens when there is clarity, space, and connection.

“Plum” honors Plum Boro, Pennsylvania, where our other partner was raised. The plum tree is known for its resilience. It blooms boldly against winter’s backdrop, a quiet but powerful symbol of perseverance, renewal, and strength in seasons of change.

Together, Pacific Plum represents the balance we bring to every engagement:
calm and capable, grounded and expansive, steady and forward-moving.

We believe organizations grow best when people feel supported, when learning is intentional, and when culture is nurtured with care. Like the ocean and the plum tree, our work is rooted in strength ... but always centered on people.

Amber Jordan

Amber began her career as a pastor, where she spent years developing people, listening deeply, and speaking to audiences with diverse needs, learning styles, and perspectives. That foundation shaped her superpowers: empathy and compassion demonstrated through action-oriented care. She has a natural ability to meet people where they are, create space for meaningful growth, and bring calm clarity to complexity. 

She lives in California with her husband, three college-aged kids, and two beloved dogs.
Amber volunteers her teaching and training abilities at her local church and also channels her entrepreneurial spirit into creative projects, including recently publishing a devotional coloring book on Amazon. When she’s not building programs or encouraging leaders, you’ll likely find her relaxing on the couch with a book, playing board games, or trying out a new kitchen gadget.

Co-Founder (Plum)

Krysten Junstrom

Krysten began her career as a graphic designer and, after earning her Master’s degree in Media Arts and Technology, transitioned into instructional design and communications. With over 15 years of experience, she blends visual thinking with structured strategy, building learning experiences that are both thoughtful and practical. Her personal mantra, "Choose Kindness," guides both her leadership and her design philosophy (and espresso fuels most of it).

She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and four fur babies, who truly run the house. A self-proclaimed Disney adult and beach enthusiast, Krysten loves to travel, craft (recent accomplishments include LEGO’s Van Gogh’s Sunflowers and the Mona Lisa), binge a good period drama (Downton Abbey forever), and indulge in a relaxing spa day. She appreciates great food and will never say no to chocolate or mac & cheese.
